About Us
In January 2000, a webcam directory was started with specific core values - make it suitable for everyone regardless of age, make it efficient and make it accurate by eliminating as many dead links as possible.
The site soon became very popular and 18 months later it was sold to another operator.
Rolling the tape on a few years during which other projects were undertaken, an idle moment meant that the original site was revisited for the first time in years and it was with some shock that we discovered that it had become an advertising platform for adult related links carrying extremely graphic images on every page including the pages for Educators, Kids and even the Christmas cams!
We checked other sites and found many that had followed the same route. We then checked for dead links on a variety of sites and found as many as 60% of the links went nowhere and during this we also noticed that there were only 5 or 10 webcams to a page meaning a lot of page turning.
And so, 9 years after the first site was created, we are creating a new one with exactly the same ethics as the original - keep it clean, keep it efficient and keep it up to date
Our only revenue is from Google ads (and they don't pay much so the odd click would be appreciated)
So all that said, welcome to A Wise Owls View of .com - no graphic adult images, simple navigation with all the cams from a location on the same page and every effort made to ensure the absolute minimum of dead links
